Nursery Room Leader

Location: Ruislip, London

Salary: £31000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, flexible working options available)

Completely Care is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded early years provider for an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery team in Ruislip.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Early Years professional who is looking to develop their leadership skills while making a real difference in children's lives. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

The successful candidate will lead their room team, support children's individual development and help deliver exceptional standards of early years care and education.

The Role

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will:

Lead and maintain a high-quality learning environment within your allocated room.

Support, coach and mentor Early Years Practitioners.

Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development.

Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Complete observations and contribute to children's learning records.

Ensure the room operates in line with EYFS requirements and safeguarding procedures.

Maintain high standards of care, safety and cleanliness.

Encourage children's confidence, independence and curiosity through play-based learning.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.

Previous experience working within an early years setting.

Experience supporting or leading a nursery room/team is desirable.

A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A caring, enthusiastic and professional approach.

A genuine passion for providing outstanding childcare and supporting children's development.
