We seek a compassionate individual to join our supportive team in Uckfield as a permanent support worker, working daytime, evening, and weekend hours for 30 hours a week. Additional opportunities exist for more hours when required and to cover holidays for other support workers.

We're looking to recruit a caring and empathetic Support Worker to work in our home in Uckfield. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

This role involves supporting an 18-year-old autistic young man with associated learning difficulties and global delays. He uses an ACC device for communication, and your responsibilities will include aiding him with communication, independence skills, functional skills, occupational therapy for self-regulation, access to the community and personal care.

Once fully trained, you will also assist him in engaging with the community and participating in enjoyable activities.

As part of our home-based Support Worker team, which includes family members and other support workers, you'll be part of the fulfilling social care field.
