JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am lady in my 50’s living with my husband and son (who has Asperger’s) in Pontypridd. I have bone disease, osteoporosis and spinal problems which really affect my mobility. I am very independent though, and will always try to do things myself first. I can get quite anxious, especially when going to new places, but I really enjoy going to an arts and crafts group every Thursday. I also love upcycling and designing pieces of furniture for my husband and son to make. I am also trying to develop my computer skills and would like a PA to help with this.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide me with some domestic support around my home, as well as taking me out socially and helping me to attend appointments.

HOURS OF WORK

ABOUT THE JOB

Although this is a part-time job, it will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The salary will be paid on a 4 weekly basis and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to a probationary period and a DBS (Police) Check.
