ROLE: Maintenance TechnicianHOURS: 42 hours per weekLOCATION: Leeds

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician who will carry out general maintenance duties, supporting facilities operations across Leeds (LS11 8BU) with possible travel to Normanton and Carr Gate sites within a 10-mile radius, ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Role Responsibilities:

-Carry out general porterage, cleaning support where required, decorating duties as requested by the Facilities Manager, and maintain internal and external entrances and surrounding areas

-Undertake routine checks on plant and equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions are achieved

-Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a regular basis in line with schedules and requirements

-Carry out building fabric activities including patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks

-Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed in line with safety standards, compliance requirements, and site expectations

Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

-Previous experience as a handy person or in a general maintenance role with broad practical skills

-Experience working in a customer-facing environment

-Physical dexterity and manual handling capability

-Full valid driving licence

-Ability to meet West Yorkshire Police vetting requirements
