Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker

About the Direct

Payment Holder

H is a 5-year-old with complex medical and physical needs, including

epilepsy, hydrocephalus, right sided hemiplegia and a rare brain

tumour. He experiences daily absence seizures and requires support

with his medical needs and routine activities.

H is physically disabled and uses specialist equipment, including a

gastrotomy and hoist to support his daily care.

Hours and rate of

pay hours

69 hours available to be used every other Weekends, paid at £13 per

hour.

The working pattern will be agreed with family.

Location Cambridge, CB1 area

DBS/Checks Confirmation of an Enhanced DBS check.

Right to Work and references will be needed.

What you would

be doing…

Provide one-to-one support for H in activities he enjoys, including

watching Disney movies, swimming, going for walks around town, visits

to the cinema and Cafes.

Supporting H to develop his confidence, communication and

independence while ensuring he remains safe and engaged in

activities.
