Summary

Nursery Practitioners & Teaching Assistants – Gaydon

We're seeking qualified, experienced Early Years professionals who deliver outstanding childcare.

Bank work: Flexible (Block bookings/Full-time/Part-time) 3 days minimum.

Shifts: Monday to Friday (Full days – 8 hours minimum, or PM shifts from 12 pm)

Salary: Up to £16.25 per hour (including holiday pay)

£100 Sign-Up Bonus Available (T&Cs Apply)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care and learning for children aged 0–5

• Support development in line with the EYFS framework

• Maintain safe, stimulating, and inclusive environments

• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and nursery policies

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

• Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare (UK recognised)

• TA qualification Level 2 or Level 3 gained BEFORE 2014 only

• EYPS (Early Years Professional Status)

• EYTS (Early Years Teacher Status)

• PGCE (Early Years/Primary preferred)

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with Early Years/EYFS experience

Experience:

• Proven UK nursery or early years experience (desirable)

• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding (desirable)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
