Skilled Fitter
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing aerospace environment, working on nacelle structures and components. You will play a key role in the precision assembly and fitting of aircraft structures, contributing to a programme that demands the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. • £19.70 PAYE / £26.19 Umbrella, Overtime rates available

Key Responsibilities
• Fit and assemble nacelle components and sub-assemblies in line with technical instructions and specifications
• Carry out drilling, countersinking, riveting, fastening, and torquing to design standards
• Handle and position components safely onto tooling and workstations
• Complete self-inspection and ensure all work meets required quality standards
• Record traceability data via batch cards and production documentation
• Identify and report non-conformances during assembly operations
• Ensure correct use and validity of tooling, fixtures, and materials
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5S within the work area
• Comply fully with all HSE and quality procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment
Requirements
• Time-served aerospace or engineering apprenticeship (City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Self-inspection approval (desirable)
• Strong experience in aircraft fitting, assembly, and fastening techniques
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Knowledge of composite materials and assembly processes
• Experience using hand tools and measurement equipment
• Strong understanding of HSE and quality standards
