We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and expanding automotive service centre in Wednesbury, West Midlands, for the position of Service Technician. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on various vehicles

- Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

- Complete complex repairs adhering to manufacturer and industry standards

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop workflow

- Perform quality control on completed work

- Maintain workshop tools and equipment to safety standards

- Assist with repair estimates and communicate technical issues

- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

- Contribute positively to team culture and support colleagues

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

- Minimum of three years' experience as a Service Technician within the motor trade

- Proven diagnostic skills with previous training

- Experience performing complex mechanical repairs

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

- Excellent communication skills and proactive customer service approach

- Ability to work efficiently both independently and in team settings
