I'm a lively, independent 63-year-old lady looking for a friendly and reliable Personal Assistant to provide occasional cover as my bank PA.
Although I use a wheelchair following an ambulance accident while working as a Nurse and Paramedic, I don't let it hold me back. I'm passionate about volunteering and have spent over 15 years with the Fire Service, where I teach Fire Cadets and deliver fire safety talks. I also work alongside Social Services, have recently joined Healthwatch, and volunteer with Speedwatch because road safety matters to me.
I'm very independent and only need a little help with everyday tasks. This includes some assistance with showering and dressing, light household chores, weekly shopping, and helping prepare a simple meal once a week. There is no heavy lifting involved, and my home is kept very tidy by my regular carer.
The role is usually for three hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, starting around 8am – 9am, although I'm happy to be flexible and can adjust the days if needed. This is a bank position, so you'll only be needed to cover my regular carer for occasional periods, usually around four weeks in total across the year.
I'm looking for someone who is caring, dependable, easy to chat to and has a good sense of humour. If you'd like a flexible role where you can make a real difference while supporting someone who enjoys life and staying active in the community, I'd love to hear from you.
