Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA) – PART TIME 4 hours - HBC/ZI/06/26

(support a client living in a shared housing environment)

Job Ref: HBC/ZI/06/26

Reporting to: Employer

Location: Hall Green – Birmingham – B28

Rate of Pay: £12.71

Nature of the job role: To assist with personal needs, community engagement and house chores

Main Duties:

PA to support with community engagement

PA to support with house chores, e.g. prompt and support with cleaning and tidying

PA to support with shopping

PA to support with cooking

Hours of work: 4 hours per week

Qualifications:

· GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (preferred)

· Basic knowledge or understanding of care and support

Skills:

· Good communication skills

· Friendly and approachable

· Reliable and punctual

· Patient and understanding

· Able to work independently

· Basic cooking and household skills

· Good organisation and time management

· Respectful of privacy and confidentiality

Experience:

· Experience supporting people in a caring role (paid, voluntary, or personal)

· Experience helping with household tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and cooking

· Experience encouraging independence and community involvement

· Able to follow instructions and provide person-centred support
