Hours

10 hours a week worked as follows;

Monday to Friday 12 noon – 2.00pm with some flexibility as hours may be varied according to the employer’s needs with notice given.

About the employer

The employer is a lady who has Arthritis which affects her mobility. Has reoccurring black outs and is Diabetic.

A Personal Assistant is sought to provide adequate support to the employer around her needs.

Main Duties

• To assist with showering, dressing and general care.

• To assist with making the employer lunch and a drink.

• To complete household chores.

• Supporting with the employer’s attendance of occasional, local outpatient appointments.

• Accompanying and supporting the employer on local shopping trips, social outings and any meetings when needed.

To be discussed further at interview.

Clean driving license essential.

Enhanced DBS Check is required (cost borne by Employer)

Additional employment information

The successful applicant will be friendly, able to give empathetic support, while respecting the employer’s independence but also able to take instruction.

Must be flexible, trustworthy and active with a good sense of humour.
