Summary
Engage Talent Partners are working with our Aberdeen-based client, a key player in the renewables and oil & gas sector to recruit a Supply Chain Quality Specialist.
Our client is an innovative and forward-thinking business experiencing a significant period of growth. With continued investment in their people, processes and technology, they are seeking a Supply Chain Quality Specialist to support, monitor and improve the quality and performance of suppliers on their Approved Vendor List (AVL).
The role involves performing risk-based assessments, conducting supplier audits, supporting onboarding activities and driving supplier quality performance improvements. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Engineering, QHSE, and Project Management and will engage externally with suppliers, third-party auditors, and clients.
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in the role requirements with excellent knowledge around maintaining and improving the Approved Vendor List (AVL), issuing and analysing Vendor Assessment Questionnaire’s (VAQs), conducting supplier audits, investigating Non-Conformances (NCRs), identifying root causes using established methodologies and ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented and verified. You will also hold ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
