Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary School | Lewisham

A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Lewisham is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a September start. This full-time position is designed for a high-achieving graduate who wants to gain meaningful classroom experience before progressing into teacher training, Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy or another child-focused profession. Working alongside experienced teachers across the primary age range, you'll play an active role in supporting learning, building pupils' confidence and helping children achieve their potential. Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

Providing individual support for pupils who require additional guidance

Preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom organisation

Encouraging positive behaviour and helping create a calm learning environment

Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents throughout the school community
