Role
As a Primary Teacher, you'll deliver engaging, creative, and highly personalised learning experiences for pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and families, you'll support each child's academic, social, and emotional development within a nurturing and structured environment where every achievement is celebrated.
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs
- Adapting teaching to support each pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Supporting pupils' academic progress alongside their personal, social, and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals
- Monitoring progress and contributing to assessments and EHCP reviews
- Encouraging independence, confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning
You

- Mainstream Primary Teachers looking to transition into specialist education
- Teachers with experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
Previous experience in a specialist SEND setting is beneficial but not essential. If you're an enthusiastic teacher with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
- An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
