Are you looking for a rewarding SEN Mentor job, Behaviour Mentor role or Learning Mentor vacancy within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school?I am recruiting passionate, resilient and caring individuals to work as SEN Mentors, Behaviour Mentors, SEMH Mentors and Learning Support Mentors across a variety of specialist education settings throughout the Black Country.Whether you have experience in education, youth work, sports coaching, residential care, mental health support or children's services, this could be the perfect opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people with additional needs.

About the RoleAs an SEN Mentor, you will support pupils who require additional emotional, behavioural or learning support to access education successfully.

You will:✔ Provide 1:1 mentoring and intervention support ✔ Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils ✔ Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies ✔ Help reduce barriers to learning and improve engagement ✔ Act as a positive role model throughout the school day ✔ Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs ✔ Work closely with teachers, SEND teams and pastoral staff ✔ Encourage independence, resilience and self-confidenceThis is an ideal role for individuals considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, social work, counselling, youth work or SEN support.Specialist Schools and Settings We SupportSEN Schools

SEMH SchoolsWorking with pupils who may experience:

Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)

Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties

Attachment disorders

Trauma-related needs

Behavioural challenges

Alternative Provision & PRU SettingsSupporting young people who:

Have been excluded from mainstream education

Are at risk of exclusion

Require specialist behavioural support

Need additional mentoring and pastoral intervention
