The Northwest Trunk Road Unit spans some 1,422km of trunk road through some of the most scenic parts of the country. It covers a huge area of Scotland, from Thurso and Wick in the very north of the Highlands down to Campbeltown in Argyll and Bute, from Uig on Skye to Perth and Stirling.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inspection Team Leader to join our Asset Inspection team in Inverness. The Inspection Team Leader – Asset Data Specialist will manage the team of Inspectors to ensure they complete the Inspections to the Network Management Contract requirements stated in the Trunk Road Information Manual.
Role includes:
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures that form part of BEAR’s Integrated Management Systems.
Manage the daily activities of the Inspectors and the operation in AMPS.
Ensure that inspections are carried out on time and in accordance with the inspection programme and the trunk road information manual.
Review the collected inspection data for accuracy completeness and compliance.
Report and liaison with the AMPS team to resolve problems and issues.
Assisting with responses to Hazard Notices and Observations Resulting from Inspections.
Other duties applicable to the post as directed from time to time by the Asset Manager.
