Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a non-verbal male within his own home to support with his evening routine. The client communicates via a computer based communication system and uses an electric wheelchair.
As a Personal Assistant your duties will include supporting with his evening routine, including assistance with removing and applying continence pads, assist the client to prepare prescribed medication in a pot and measuring cough meds (no administration required), assistance to apply cream on legs, assistance to change from day clothes into nightwear, select and lay out clothes for the following day, assist to prepare bed time drink, and to assist occasionally with some household tasks such as loading/unloading dishwasher/washing machine.
