Summary
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Senior Support Worker to lead and support our team in delivering high-quality care to vulnerable individuals. You will take extra responsibility for daily service delivery, guide other staff members, help maintain care standards, and support individuals to live as independently as possible.
Your key duties will include:
- Leading day-to-day support activities and acting as a point of contact for staff, families and external professionals.
- Assisting with care planning, recording progress and updating accurate records in line with legal and company requirements.
-Supporting individuals with personal care, daily tasks, emotional wellbeing, and community access.
- Supervising and mentoring other staff workers, helping with handovers and shift covers.
- Promoting dignity, choice and safety, and following all safeguarding, health & safety policies.
- Reporting any concerns about care, wellbeing or risks to managers promptly.
