Rapier Employment is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an exciting opportunity based in Harlow. Whether you're looking for regular day shifts or night work, this is your chance to secure consistent, long-term work with excellent rates of pay.

Pay Rates

- Days: £22.00 per hour

- Nights: £25.00 per hour

- PAYE – Holiday pay accrued separately

- Guaranteed minimum 8 hours' pay per shift

Shift Information

Day Shifts

- Start times between 04:00 and 11:00

- Trunking to Stoke

Night Shifts

- Start times between 15:00 and 17:00

- Trunking to Scunthorpe

- Shift lengths: 9–13 hours

- Ongoing, full-time work available

- Immediate starts

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

- Completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries

- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks

- Completing all transport paperwork accurately

- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time

- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service

- Complying with all Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Road Transport regulations

Requirements

To be considered, you'll need:

- A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

- Valid Driver CPC

- Valid Digital Tachograph Card

- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)

- A professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach

- Good communication and time management skills

- Flexibility to work the required shift pattern
