Summary

The Role: To support a young professional gentleman living with Muscular Dystrophy, who enjoys television/film, travelling, music and sport to live an exciting and fulfilling life. The position is for a bank worker to cover annual leave and sickness shifts.

Main Duties:

• To provide all aspects of personal care

• To use a hoist

• To support to maintain a hygienic home (including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up etc)

• Food and drink preparation

Personal Qualities and Attributes required:

• Respectful of confidentiality and privacy

• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy

• Respectful of dignity and independence

• Good communication skills and social skills

• Punctual, and flexible

• Suitable for a casual working environment but always remaining professional.

• Respectful of the home and family environment and the routine

• Driving licence essential to be able to use employer’s vehicle

Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references.

You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.

Hours: Day hours – between 08.30am – 8.30pm and night shifts – 8.30pm – 8.30am – a mix of these hours will require cover.

Hourly Rate: £15.00 per hour

Holidays: 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata) including Bank holidays
