Dorset Stroke and Neuro Service (West) have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to to join our community based team. 

Our team provides rehabilitation and support to individuals with a stroke or other neurological diagnosis.  This is provided within their own homes, in clinic and group settings and through using technology. You will work together with our Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurses, Therapy Assistant Practitioners, Stroke and Neuro Navigators and the individual to help them achieve their personal goals.

To contribute to the team's role of providing stroke and neuro assessment and rehabilitation to community clients under the guidance of qualified practitioners.

To work independently under supervision and in a supportive role as part of the Service

To deliver holistic six month stroke reviews in a clinic and in individuals homes. 

This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only.  Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.

 Employment in this post requires an Enhanced/Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
