Summary
TMP College is an Independent Specialist College based in the North West of England, committed to providing high-quality education and support to all students. We are currently seeking a dedicated English Tutor (SEND) to join our Maths & English department. This role focuses on teaching whole class Functional Skills English and Functional Skills Interventions to small groups and 1:1 tailored for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Job Description:
As an English Tutor at TMP College, you will deliver engaging and inclusive sessions to SEND learners. You will play a key role in supporting the academic progress and personal development of your students by adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English.
- Proven experience working with SEND learners.
- Strong knowledge of English curriculum.
- Ability to design creative lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written..
- Relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent.
