We are now inviting applications for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Pharmacy Dispensary team atPeterborough City Hospital as a full-time Band 2 Pharmacy Support Worker.

We actively support your development. If you do not already hold a recognised Pharmacy Assistant qualification (for example, Dispensing Assistant or Pharmacy Stock Management), you will be supported to achieve this within your first three months.
Following successful training and competency sign-off, you can progress to Band 3 within approximately 12 months.

• Participate in the timely dispensing for all patients of both the Trust and external customers, including accurate prescription receipt, labelling and/or assembly.
• Participate in the supply of medicines in the form of in and out-patient dispensing, including accurate prescription receipt, labelling and assembly, and ensuring prompt completion and distribution, in accordance with departmental policies and procedures when required
• Contribute to the smooth running of a busy dispensary service
