A supportive secondary SEN department in Tower Hamlets is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students with a range of additional needs.
Key duties:
- 1:1 and small‑group SEN support
- Personal care responsibilities
- Following safe manual handling procedures
- Supporting students with ASD, complex needs or physical disabilities
- Helping learners access the curriculum and stay engaged
You must have:
- Strong SEN experience
- Confidence with personal care
- A valid Manual Handling certificate
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
