We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Mobile Vehicle Technician in Northampton, Northamptonshire. Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

- Travel to customer locations across Northampton and surrounding areas to perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently as a Mobile Vehicle Technician

- Service a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs)

- Complete warranty repairs as required

- Conduct vehicle health checks and advise customers on additional work needed

- Ensure all tasks are carried out to manufacturer standards and highest quality

- Deliver exceptional customer service, acting as a professional ambassador for the business

- Complete all relevant paperwork and maintain accurate job records

- Build and maintain strong relationships with local customers

Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Minimum of three years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Experience working on both passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) is desirable but not essential

- Ability to work independently, managing your own workload effectively

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Full UK driving licence

- Positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
