Pay: £12.71 per hour (Days) / £13.83 per hour (Nights)

Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off

Hours:

  • Days: 06:00 - 18:00

  • Nights: 18:00 - 06:00

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a well-known business within the distribution industry in Tamworth. This Warehouse Operative role offers excellent long-term opportunities, with potential permanent positions available following a successful trial period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous warehouse experience looking to develop their skills within the warehouse and distribution industry. Full training will be provided on VNA and Reach forklift trucks, along with additional MHE equipment.

Job Role - Warehouse Operative (Distribution Industry)

As a Warehouse Operative in Tamworth, you will support daily warehouse operations within the distribution industry, ensuring stock is handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating VNA and Reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently

  • Palletisation and stock replenishment

  • Scanning products and updating stock records

  • Shrink wrapping goods ready for dispatch

  • General housekeeping and maintaining warehouse standards

  • Using warehouse equipment including MHE V08, LLOP, and PPT (training provided)

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred

  • Willingness to train and operate VNA and Reach forklift trucks

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment

  • Reliable and hardworking attitude
