Summary

Job Overview

-Supporting the Social Value, Sustainability, and QHSE (SVSQHSE) functions of the DfT Sector.

-The analysis of management information, and provision of reports detailing current performance, trends and improvement opportunities.

-Support contract mobilisations to ensure all SVSQHSE requirements are considered and communicated.

-Support the management of SVSQHSE Sharepoints to ensure a current and standard approach is in place.

-Build excellent relationships with key stakeholders, both within the account teams, client teams and the wider business.

Main Duties

-Provide comprehensive business and administrative support to the Sustainability, Health & Safety and Social Value Manager, contributing to the effective delivery of QSHE, sustainability and social value objectives across the DfT sector.

-Support the coordination, analysis and reporting of QSHE, sustainability and social value performance, including KPIs, trends, management information and continuous improvement activities.

-Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance, including document control, audits, risk management actions, permit administration and business registers.

-Assist operational teams in the effective use of QSHE, sustainability and social value systems, including the Integrated Management System (IMS) and external platforms such as EcoOnline, Sevron, WhatImpact and the Social Value Portal (Thrive).

-Contribute to contract mobilisations, projects and improvement initiatives to ensure QSHE, sustainability and social value requirements are embedded within operational delivery.

-Maintain internal systems and communication platforms (e.g. SharePoint) to ensure information is current, accessible and aligned with business requirements.

-Prepare reports, presentations, communications and submissions to support the promotion of QSHE, sustainability and social value performance, achievements and best practice.

-Collaborate with operational teams, clients and wider stakeholders to support the embedding of QSHE, sustainability and social value priorities and strengthen engagement.

-Coordinate and support social value and volunteering initiatives, including promoting opportunities, tracking participation and evidencing outcomes for reporting purposes.

-Maintain a working knowledge of company policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance and alignment with organisational standards and the Mitie Way.

-Support personal development through ongoing training and performance review activities.

-Undertake any other reasonable duties to support QSHE, sustainability and social value functions and wider business needs.

What we are looking for

-Proven experience of analytical skills and bringing management information to life.

-Excellent IT skills with experience in Microsoft suite of programmes (Excel, PowerPoint & PowerBI) and Analytical skills.

-Good organisational and communication skills and production of reports.

-Recognised Health and Safety Qualifaction or working towards NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.

-Able to challenge the norm and introduce fresh thinking and new ideas.

-Working knowledge of Property / Facilities Management sector.

-Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative, and to work as part of a team.

-Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.

-Full UK driving licence preferable.
