Summary

Wanted: A Brilliant Female PA for Shaz in the G31 area

Meet Shaz

Hi, I’m Shaz. I’m confident, kind, honest and straight to the point. My home is my safe place, so I’m looking for someone who understands the importance of respecting my space, routines and the way I like things done.

I enjoy music of all kinds — from pop and country to rave — and I love learning new things. I’m also interested in natural therapies such as meditation and reiki. My cat, my grandkids, helping others, going on holidays and the sunshine all bring joy to my day.

I like getting out when I can, including going to meetings, visiting The Forge, popping into Marks & Spencer, meeting friends for coffee and food. Some days are busier, and other days I simply like to chill at home.

The Role: Support That Makes a Difference

I’m looking for a friendly, reliable Personal Assistant to support me for 10.5 hours per week with practical day-to-day tasks at home and occasional support to get out and about. The rate of pay is £13.60 per hour.

The role is about helping me stay organised, comfortable and independent while respecting that my home is my safe space. I appreciate good communication, honesty and someone who will tell me if something is not working rather than pretending it is fine.

How You’ll Help

· Food shopping and carrying bags.

· Basic cooking, evening meals and batch cooking support.

· Helping me plan food, get shopping in and take meals out in the morning.

· Housework such as hoovering, ironing, changing the bed and keeping things tidy.

· Supporting me to keep items in their usual place, as things being moved can make me anxious.

· Helping with clearing cupboards and general organisation at home.

· Reminding me about my pain patch when it is due.

· Support to get involved in activities, classes or volunteering opportunities.

· Cat-related essentials and keeping my home running smoothly.

Could This Be You?

The best match for me would be someone who is honest, friendly, patient and easy to talk to. A good sense of humour would be brilliant, and it would be a bonus if you enjoy music too. A driver is preferred but not essential.

You should be comfortable with practical household tasks and understand the importance of respecting someone’s home, choices and routine. Sometimes I’ll enjoy a chat, and sometimes I may be quieter — so someone who can read the room and be flexible would suit me well.

The Must-Haves

Basic cooking skills are essential- No MasterChef trophy required just basic skills and confidence. You should also be comfortable being around cats

I value trust, honesty and clear communication. If you are the kind of person who is reliable, respectful, down-to-earth and willing to learn how I like things done, this could be a great role for you.

This role would suit someone who enjoys helping others, can support independence in a positive way, and understands that small details can make a big difference.
