Randstad Education is recruiting a Qualified Science Teacher for partner secondary schools across Plymouth. This role is perfect for experienced teachers wanting a break from the administrative grind, or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build confidence and experience in a variety of classroom settings.
Alongside your specialist subject, you will also have the opportunity to take on General Cover, making every week dynamic, engaging, and flexible.
The Role:
Deliver pre-planned Science lessons (KS3/KS4) effectively and enthusiastically.
Step in for General Cover across other subjects as required, ensuring a productive learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour efficiently using the school's established policies.
Leave the classroom tidy and ready for the next day-with no take-home work.
What You Need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
ECTs/NQTs are highly encouraged to apply-gain valuable experience with full support.
A flexible, adaptable approach to teaching across the curriculum.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to process one through Randstad).
Right to work in the UK.
