They are now looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm.

The Role
As the Strategic Procurement Manager, you will lead and develop our client’s procurement function, ensuring materials, plant and suppliers deliver the best value, reliability and performance for projects nationwide.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will take ownership of supplier relationships, pricing, framework agreements and rebate structures across key procurement categories.
You will implement robust procurement processes, strengthen supplier coverage across England and Wales, and work proactively to ensure sites receive the right materials at the right time while protecting programme delivery and commercial performance.
Additionally, you will:
- Build and maintain a nationwide supplier network with strong regional coverage
- Improve delivery performance through forward planning, lead time management and proactive ordering
- Resolve order, delivery and invoice discrepancies to minimise cost leakage
- Develop category strategies aligned to project sequencing and operational requirements
- Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and performance reviews
