Duties of a MOT Tester:

- Conduct MOT tests in compliance with legal and industry standards

- Perform vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs

- Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out as an MOT Tester

- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings effectively

- Assist in general workshop duties as required

- Stay updated with the latest MOT regulations and testing procedures

- Contribute to a clean and safe workshop environment

Requirements of a MOT Tester:

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Valid Class 4/7 MOT Licence

- Proven experience carrying out MOT tests within an automotive environment

- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills

- Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively within a busy team

- Commitment to delivering high-quality service and adhering to safety standards
