Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:

- Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and industry regulations

- Utilise estimating software such as Audatex to prepare accurate repair estimates

- Source and interpret repair techniques and technical data using recognised platforms

- Identify and account for additional repairs and works as needed during the repair process

- Collaborate with the workshop supervisor to ensure seamless workflow and operational efficiency

- Assist Parts Supervisor in managing parts ordering and receipt to minimise delays

- Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

- Apply technical knowledge and estimating skills to deliver high-quality damage assessments

- Stay informed on emerging repair techniques and vehicle types, including electric and hybrid vehicles

Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator

- Familiarity with estimating platforms, such as Audatex

- Sound understanding of vehicle repair methods and technical data sourcing

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and independently

- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

- Valid VDA qualification is desirable but not essential

- Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles is a plus

- Own transport is required due to limited public transport options in the area
