Summary

Our client, a reputable main dealership in Kettering, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Known for their commitment to customer satisfaction and a friendly, family-oriented culture, this dealership offers a supportive working environment that values staff development and teamwork.

- Competitive basic salary of circa £32,000, commensurate with experience

- OTE £35,000+ including bonuses and overtime opportunities

- Monday to Friday working week, 40 hours

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Perform full vehicle servicing, repairs, and general maintenance

- Demonstrate diagnostic skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

- Work independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of quality and customer care

- Conduct thorough inspections and ensure all work complies with manufacturers' specifications

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used as a Vehicle Technician

- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Full UK driving licence

- Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 2 and time-served individuals considered)

- Own set of quality tools

- Proven experience in a similar role within a main dealership or reputable garage

- Strong diagnostic and technical abilities

- Flexible attitude towards working hours and tasks

- Ability to work efficiently to deadlines and uphold high standards of workmanship
