Summary

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership located in Wantage, is looking for an experienced Mot Tester to join their dedicated team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Mot Tester eager to progress within a well-established, family-owned dealership in South Oxfordshire.

Duties:

- Conduct Mot tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards

- Diagnose faults and perform necessary servicing and repairs as an Mot Tester

- Complete vehicle inspections and record findings accurately

- Support workshop operations to maintain workflow efficiency as an Mot Tester

- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service

- Keep up-to-date with Mot testing regulations and manufacturer standards

Requirements:

- Valid and active Class 4 and Class 7 Mot testing licences

- UK driving licence with minimal points

- NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent; or relevant practical experience as an Mot Tester

- Extensive vehicle mechanic experience with an active Mot licence will also be considered

- Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively within a team

- Reliable, motivated, and committed to high standards as an Mot Tester
