Sewing Machinist – Milton Keynes | £14.00–£14.50 Per Hour | Full-TimeLocation: Milton KeynesPay: £14.00–£14.50 per hourHours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pmFriday: 8:00am – 1:30pmWe are currently looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join a busy and growing team in the Milton Keynes area.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience sewing leather upholstery, particularly car and aircraft seats, who takes pride in producing high-quality work and has a keen eye for detail.The RoleAs a Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality leather upholstery products while maintaining excellent workmanship and meeting production deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently.Sewing and assembling leather upholstery for car and aircraft seats.Producing finished products to a high standard and specification.Reading and following production instructions and technical drawings where required.Carrying out quality checks on completed work.Maintaining a clean and organised work area.Working as part of a team to achieve production targets.Following all health and safety procedures.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience operating industrial sewing machinery is essential.Experience sewing leather upholstery, ideally for automotive or aircraft seating.Good knowledge of the upholstery or manufacturing industry.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable, punctual and hardworking.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Able to commute to Milton Keynes on a daily basis.What We Offer£14.00–£14.50 per hour, depending on experience.Monday to Friday working hours.Early finish every Friday.Friendly and supportive working environment.Ongoing opportunity with a well-established business.Immediate starts available for the right candidate.CVs are required as part of the application process.If you're an experienced Sewing Machinist with leather upholstery experience and are looking for your next opportunity in the Milton Keynes area, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today by submitting your CV to be considered for this exciting opportunity!
