As the KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in creating an engaging and inspiring classroom where children feel confident to learn, explore, and achieve.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
- Providing an inclusive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal development.
- Supporting pupils' academic, emotional, and social growth.
- Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school initiatives.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school environment (ECT applications are warmly welcomed).
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- A creative, positive, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- A genuine passion for helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across the school community.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
