Summary

To work as a member of thegastrointestinal servicesdietetic team at St Georges Hospital. To be responsible for providing a specialist dietetic service togastrointestinalpatients as both inpatient and outpatient, including IBD, Hepatology, Complex nutrition, and GI surgery.

This role provides inpatient clinical work delivering inpatient dietetic care to GI patients on Allingham ward and Eating disorder patients throughout SGH.

The successful candidate will be expected to attend regular ward MDT’s and a weekly IBD MDT. They will also manage a weekly clinic for GI outpatients.

They will also be expected to lead and contribute to service improvement projects and demonstrate a strong commitment to continuing professional development.

The wider dietetic team at St George’s consists of over 60 dietitians who provide clinical inpatient and outpatient services to a variety of specialties, including cancer services, haematology, renal, neurology, cardiology, diabetes, and paediatrics. The department is committed to training dietetic students and actively participates in training programs across the organisation. There are also numerous opportunities for professional and personal development.
