About the Employer

Personal Assistant required to support a young woman with a Cancer diagnosis and who is currently undergoing intensive treatment and needs assistance with daily tasks.

Employer Disability and Health Conditions:

• Mobility / Physical

• Cancer patient, mobility limitations - uses walking frame, severe immunity impairment.

The employer's hobbies and interests:

• Watching TV

• Crystals, Reiki

• Sitting in the garden on warm days

Other relevant information:

• The individual has allergies. Animals - various - Epi Pen carried.

About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.

• Support and/or prompt the individual to take medication.

• Assist with household chores and general homemaking.

• Support and/or prompt to attend appointments as necessary, e.g. hospital/doctors.

• Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.

Only candidates aged 18 or over should apply for this position as you will be required to administer medication.
