Summary

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our agency team in Swindon. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work across a range of supported living services, residential settings, and community-based services, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and other support requirements.

You will play a key role in helping individuals live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion.

Duties Include

Providing practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.

Supporting service users with daily living activities and developing independent living skills.

Encouraging participation in social, educational, and community activities.

Assisting with personal care where required.

Administering or supporting with medication in line with training and policies.

Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.

Following care plans, risk assessments, safeguarding procedures, and company policies.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

Minimum 6 months' paid UK support work or care experience.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

A caring, patient, and professional approach.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.

Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Manual handling, medication, and safeguarding training.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (advantageous but not essential).
