Job summary

We are recruiting Automotive Assemblers / Vehicle Fitters in Warrington to fit racking, shelving and storage systems into commercial vans. This is a hands-on workshop role offering steady hours, an early finish on Fridays and a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity.

If you have experience in assembly, vehicle fitting, workshop work, joinery, maintenance, shopfitting or confident DIY, this could be a great fit. Automotive experience is useful but not essential, as long as you are practical, reliable and confident using hand tools.

Responsibilities

- Installing racking, shelving and internal fittings into commercial vehicles

- Using hand tools such as drills, drivers, spanners and rivet tools

- Measuring, aligning and assembling parts to a clean, professional standard

- Moving vehicles around the site when required, over short distances

- Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:45pm, with an early finish on Friday

Skills and experience required

- Experience in a practical role such as assembly, workshop work, vehicle prep, joinery, maintenance or shopfitting — or a strong DIY/mechanical interest

- Confidence using hand tools and following clear instructions

- Manual driving licence required (to move vehicles around site)

- Automotive experience would be useful, but it is not essential
