Summary

Mechanical Ventilation Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Complex – Slough – Up to £50,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to join a leading FM service provider based at a prestigious commercial complex near Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering team, carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical ventilation and HVAC systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial ventilation maintenance and be looking to join a company that offers plenty of overtime, ongoing training, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Hours of Work:

- Monday to Friday

- 08:00 – 17:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical ventilation systems.

- Maintaining AHUs, extraction systems, fans, motors, dampers, ductwork, and VAV/VRF systems.

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults across ventilation equipment.

- Completing belt changes, filter replacements, bearing lubrication, and fan adjustments.

- Inspecting ductwork systems and ensuring compliance with TR19 and industry standards.

- Working closely with the wider HVAC and M&E engineering teams.

- Supervising specialist subcontractors when required.

- Completing maintenance records and ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.

- Salary up to £50,000

Requirements:

- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Ventilation Systems.

- 3–5 years' experience maintaining commercial ventilation systems.

- Proven background within commercial building maintenance.

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and client-facing skills.
