Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company within the UK's automotive service industry, for an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy Bristol centre. Duties of a MOT Tester:

- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Government standards, ensuring vehicle safety and compliance

- Support customers through the MOT process by providing updates and clear explanations regarding test results, including reasons for any failures

- Support the workshop team by diagnosing and carrying out associated vehicle service and repair work when required

- Promote excellent customer service by building and maintaining lasting client relationships

- Work efficiently within a team to ensure smooth workflow and uphold workshop standards as an MOT Tester

- Assist in the general support of workshop activities as needed

Requirements of a MOT Tester:

- Valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence

- Full UK driving licence with minimal points

- Ideally hold IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification

- Alternatively, comprehensive experience as a vehicle mechanic supported by an active MOT licence

- Strong team player with excellent communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
