Summary

We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage in Milton Keynes, seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician to join their experienced team. Benefits for the successful Senior Vehicle Technician:

- Basic salary up to £45,760 (£22 per hour), with overtime paid at double rate (up to £44 per hour)

- Overtime available with any hours worked paid at 2x hourly rate

- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 40 hours per week

Duties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and mechanical work on a diverse range of vehicles

- Diagnose complex faults accurately and efficiently

- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

- Provide a professional, friendly customer service experience at all times

- Assist junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices

- Ensure all work complies with industry and manufacturer standards

- Keep workshop and diagnostic equipment maintained and functional to high standards

Requirements of the Senior Vehicle Technician:

- Recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a focus on high-end or German brands preferred

- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Positive attitude and proactive approach to work

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment

- Willingness to learn and stay current with industry developments

- Enthusiasm for working with premium vehicles and delivering excellent customer care
