Summary

Our client is a reputable vehicle service provider in Melton Mowbray seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced individuals to work within a professional environment, specialising solely in Class 4 and 7 MOT testing, ensuring vehicles comply with DVSA safety standards while providing excellent customer service.

- OTE approximately £40,000

Duties of an MOT Tester:

- Conducting Class 4 & 7 MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations

- Recording test results accurately and completing all necessary documentation

- Diagnosing repair and maintenance needs as an MOT Tester

- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with legal and safety standards

- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment as an MOT Tester

- Delivering high-quality customer service during the testing process

Requirements of an MOT Tester:

- Valid Class 4 & 7 MOT Licence (essential)

- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent (preferred)

- Previous MOT testing experience, ideally within a main dealer or independent garage

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Full UK Driving Licence
