Summary

Temporary & Relief Chefs Required – Durham Area

CDP to Head Chef Level | £16–£20 per hour | Flexible Bookings

Perfect Recruitment are currently looking for reliable, experienced Temporary & Relief Chefs to support a range of hospitality venues across the Durham area.

We have short-term and ongoing bookings available for chefs who can hit the ground running and deliver a high standard of service in busy kitchen environments.

We are looking for chefs at Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef level who are confident working across restaurants, hotels, events, and high-volume catering operations.

What we’re looking for:

- Strong kitchen experience at CDP level or above

- Reliable, professional, and able to adapt quickly to different kitchen teams

- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards

- A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)

- Driving licence preferred, or proven reliable transport to reach assignments
