This permanent position offers stability and growth in the driving industry. The role will involve multidrop using taillift, and will be delivering to both business and residential. Responsibilities:- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all road regulations and company policies.- Complete pre and post-start vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly.- Load and unload goods in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring they are securely fastened for transportation.- Plan and follow optimal routes, considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.- Regularly liaise with the transportation team to coordinate delivery activities.- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.- Keep accurate records of all deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance activities.Qualifications and Skills:- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 license with a maximum of 6 penalty points.- Possess an up-to-date Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).- Strong knowledge of UK road regulations and safe driving practices.- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.- Ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.- Flexible and adaptable, able to work varied shifts to meet business needs.Pay Rate:The offered pay rate for this position ranges from £16-17p/h per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to apply exclusively through our website, workchain.co.uk.
