Summary
Owen Payne are currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver to join a busy manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity will be based within Wolverhampton, WV10 and will be a great opportunity for candidates with previous van driving experience who are looking for a long-term role within an established company.
Key Duties:
• Delivering fire door sets, materials, and equipment to sites throughout the West Midlands
• Loading and unloading the company van safely and efficiently
• Collecting materials from suppliers as required
• Collecting waste and rubbish from sites when needed
• Supporting site teams by transporting materials and equipment between locations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and keep the van clean and roadworthy
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
• Occasionally interacting with customers or site representatives in a professional manner
Requirements:
• A full, clean UK driving licence
• Previous van driving or delivery experience is essential
• Physically fit and willing to carry out manual handling, including lifting and moving heavy fire door sets and building materials
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate:
• £13.50 per hour
