Vacancy – Panel Beater
ESS Employment Ltd are looking to employ a Panel Beater to work with an established client in a modern workshop in Yate. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and replacing damaged vehicle bodywork to the highest standard, ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in excellent condition.
Duties for the role:
• Carry out high-quality panel repairs and replacements on all makes and models of vehicles.
• Assess vehicle damage accurately and liaise with estimators and workshop staff.
• Use a variety of repair tools, welding equipment, and body alignment technology.
• Work to manufacture standards and insurance company requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently, adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service.
The successful candidate:
• Proven experience as a Panel Beater in a busy bodyshop environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and tools.
• Ability to repair a wide range of damage, from minor dents to major structural repairs.
• ATA/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Body Repair preferred.
• Welding and jig experience essential.
• Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a “can-do” attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
