Summary

Our client, a well-established family-run independent garage in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician. This is a unique opportunity for experienced technicians seeking a relaxed working environment with a focus on quality rather than targets. - Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am – 12:00pm

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicles

- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently

- Perform vehicle inspections and health checks as a Vehicle Technician

- Ensure all work is completed to high standards within designated timescales

- Vehicle Technician's should maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation

- Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver high-quality customer service

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred (not essential with sufficient experience)

- Minimum of 2 years' workshop experience

- Confident in servicing and mechanical repairs across multiple vehicle types

- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards

- Positive attitude with a strong team ethic

- Full UK Driving Licence
