Pay: £13 per hour (Zero Hour Contract)
Mileage: Paid between clients at the government (HMRC) rate
About the Role
Aurum Care Group Ltd is expanding our non‑regulated Home Help service, supporting adults to stay independent and comfortable in their own homes. This role involves domestic tasks, companionship, errands, and enabling support — not personal care. We are seeking experienced individuals who are reliable, compassionate, and confident working independently in the community.
What You’ll Do
Light domestic cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, laundry, ironing and washing up)
Meal preparation and home‑based support
Shopping assistance (escorted or list‑based)
Companionship and social support
Encouraging independence and confidence
Accompanying clients on local walks, social outings, or appointments
Basic home organisation and practical help
No personal care or regulated activity is involved.
Essential Requirements
Experience in home help, domestic support, community roles, or care.
Must be able to drive with access to your own vehicle
Insurance that covers travel between client locations
Enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service (or willing to join)
Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
Good communication skills
Willingness to complete required online training
